| | Hello I was wondering if there are any disadvantages to the cooling since it is air/oil cooled. Does it tend to run hotter or overheat on a hot and long day? thanks Gaylord |

| In my opinion, just the opposite is the case. When my old Vulcan was in motion it was essentially air cooled. But coming off the freeway after traveling 80 MPH for hours in 100 degree weather and having to stop and move through a long line of vehicles at the off-ramp, there is absolutely no air flow over the engine. And the heat just pours out. That is when I was glad to hear the fan click on and the fluid move through the radiator. I wouldn't buy a bike anymore that isn't fluid cooled.
