Not an answer, but the same concern. My sled is awsome, my only problem is that after 4 hours of riding, I can max 90mph at about 1/4 trottle, then full trottle is no faster, but the rpms are @ around 84. My buddy dragged me on his 800 powertech. I brought my renegade 1000 to the dealer, they said they need to put more weight in the clutch to bring the rpm down. My dealer said that the sleds come from factory like this to keep emitions down... dont know how true that is. guess we'll have to break it in and see. let me know how you make out.-brud

Did you bring it in for the recall?
apperently the clicker is set too high and it is just reving out. origanly the clicker was set at #6. try putting it at #1 on your primary clutch. should rev at maybe 8000 rpm.
let me know how you make out.
your dealer is full of it you dont buy a 1000 to go 90 mph.

thanks sean, for your advice. my dealer didnt know anything about it. I changed the heal clicker back to 1 and now its a different sled all together. the RPM is under 8000. I had it at 100 on the spedo in a foot of powder.

Check your belt height its probably riding to high or too low slowing you down.
My sled will run 114 on the gun

I have same deal going on. My buddy has the 2007 MachZ had the same problem. He put 300+ miles on it and it seemed like a new sled. Brought it back to dealer, had rpm adjusted to the desired 7900 rpm (Magic Number) and now well....I can't wait to catch him.
