| | I keep records from every fill up of my 03 VS800. I consistently get 47 m/g @ 2500 miles. Bought the bike used 6 months ago with only 400 miles on the clock. |

| Being hard on the throttle, I average about 45 miles in the city...and about 50-51 on the highway (cruising @ 75 mph).

| My s50 will get around 50mpg in the city. I just lug her around. On the highway with mixed driving I usually get about 42-45mpg. I believe the reason my milage is lower on the highway is the s50 is geared very low. It will fly in the quarter mile but when you hit 60 on the interstate you keep looking for another gear.
