How are light bars normally wired to the headlight switch? High beam or low beam?

I have put 4 sets on Yamahas and always wired them to the low beam. I'm looking for a set for my 2000 Classic LT but can't find any.

It should be wired to a relay hooked up to your headlamp feed and operated through a seperate switch. This way, you won't have to worry about turning off that switch when you park the bike.
