| I have heard so many different versions of the break-in period for the 06 ZX-6r. I am confused now. I now what the factory break-in procedures are but what about the so called pros that race bikes and give a totally different opinion. Somebody help me out. I want my bike in perfect condition.

| Do not take this as gospel but the mechanic at the dealership I bought my RR at told me to ride it like It was broken in just watch the revs the first 500 miles.

| Just picked up mine today and the sales manager told me not be too aggressive for the first 700 miles.

| | Got mine yesterday, the sales guy said it wouldn't hurt it to go over the 4k limit....just to make sure you're not revvin' it too high....I couldn't stay below 6k in 6th on the highway, but haven't taken it much higher. |
