I'm not new to motorcycles. Been riding for about 10 years, but only on cruisers. Would this be a bad beginner bike? Cruisers act, balance, and feel different. The sportbike is a highly focused bike, the max of every aspect of motorcycles. Power spread is much wider....try over 100 in 2nd. So, easy on the right wrist, give yourself a long long long learning curve and you may like it. Balance, power, traction, and wind dynamics are top notch vs. cruisers.
