| See a lot of good things about the dl-1000 but no mention of 2 up comfort. I'm not small, about 230 lbs. and have been looking for just such a ride as the dl but need 2 up room. Anybody heard anything about a backrest? I'm not interested in 120 mph but do like the torque. Thanks for response.

| | There is a backrest option for Givi topbox and a Corbin seat with backrest option. This bike has great pillion ergos. Great legroom. It will buzz the passenger pegs a little in some rpm spots. There have been some complaints about buffeting, but maybe they should get a car? |

| It was voted most comfortable out of eleven bikes up for Best Streetbike in Cycle World Magazine. Even the passenger seat won most comfortable. If you need a backrest, order a Corbin seat with the removable backrest.
