| | I heard a little rumor that Polaris maybe redisigning the Scrambler in 08. Have any of you guys heard? Possibly a competitor to the Can-Am Renegade 800HO. The Scrambler has needed a cosmetic overhaul like really bad for the last few years. I think it would be cool if they made one with IRS with the option of a 500efi or 800efi engine. That Renegade is just too expensive! MSRP $9300!!!! |

| oviously polaris isnt gonna gonna be letting out any major secrets of that nature.
why would they let there competitor know what they r planning.but my guess would be that they will come out with something bigger than a 500.but who knows they could wait another year. Now the price is a whole new ball game.ur saying that the renegade is too much but if polaris brings out somehting to compete there really gonna be any cheeper, like think about it from a business point of view.why would they charge less for something that they can get a couple thousand more for?
its common sense.B ut u could argue that the price of the renegade is justified by its componets.seeing as how it shares the same basic features as the outlander 800.with the exsetion of the suspension and a few others.if polaris comes out with somehting new they will be confronted by that very problem.but all in all i hope they come out with something new . its always good to see some healthy compietion between two of the worlds largest atv based companys. |

| | A new scrambler with frame and suspension derived from the Outlaw sport quad, and the motor and tranny from a Sportsman 800 EFI with 4-wheel shaft drive and Polaris' ADC and a frame-mounted receiver style hitch so you can still do some work with it would be my dream quad. |
