| Hi, I was wondering what made you shoose the 1150 over the 650?

| Take the 650 on any freeway for ~an hour, then do the Adventure. No contest. The 650 is also very hot (for the rider). the 650 is more managable in the dirt, but the Adventure is more than acceptable (any trouble can be cured by the throttle). Great bike for an adult size person.

| I had the 650, then went to Adventure within a year. No Contest and with some practise and skill the Adventure is a way more predictable and user friendly bike, on and off road. However, there is a price to pay.$$$

| I test drove the 650 and then the 1150 afterwards... the 650 felt gutless and small.

| | I like the size and carrying capacity of the 1150. My wife and I often travel two up with luggage so I never considered a 650. The bigger machine was the choice for me. |
