| I'm would like to purchase this Honda. It was originally sold in Oklahoma and I'm in California. What work and at what price to comply with California emissions? Do I need to comply to register the bike?

| Unless the bike has 7500 miles on it, you're out of luck. The state of California, in all it's wisdom, will allow you to bring in, and register, any high-mileage, polluting, piece of crap bike that you want, but don't even think about bringing a new, or newer, bike into the state. You will NOT be able to register it. Basically, it comes down to money. Buy a new bike in California and they make a killing on the sales tax and license. DMV will try to convince you that it's a smog thing, but don't believe it for a minute. It's about the money! I'm a state employee, so I know that you always have to follow the money trail to get to the truth. Good luck on your search!
