| The 450r comes stock with a 14 tooth front sprocket.....wayyy to high for trail riding....i have a 13 tooth on mine and it helps a lot. It is wayy easier on the clutch. u lose bout 5 mph. if you ride trails a lot i would definately get a 12 tooth. it takes away bout 15 mph top but gives good power. Even consider goin to 12 in the front and changing the back smaller for more speed. Have fun 12 or 13 definately

| 1 TOOTH SMALLER ON THE FRONT SPROCKET.
STOCK REAR UNLESS YOU WANT A BIG DIFFERENCE THAN ALSO GO 1 TOOTH BIGGER ON REAR AS WELL.........
