| The Aero is just fine with two people. My girlfriend rides comfortably behind me on mine, but not before I added a backrest. Weight limit is 403 pounds.

| | Since your wife doesn't weigh much, you shouldn't have any problem. I'm short, weigh about 165, and my wife is taller, and weighs about 160. On the road, we're fine. Around town we feel very top heavy. If you are an experience rider and have much concern, you might think about a VTX1300, or even a Kawasaki 900. Not too much more expensive. |

| While the Aero will do fine for two people, it's a bit much on a distance trip and you will be hitting the power limit. I would recommend the VTX 1300 or the Kawasaki 1600 Meanstreak. I just finished rideing the Meanstreak on a demo ride and man...it was super, lots and lots of smooth ride power.

| | Richard, it depends on what your looking for performance wise. The Aero tops out around 100 mph and will to 80 on the highway hour after hour and day after day. If your looking for a bike that can gain speed quickly from 80 mph 2 up then you better look at something a little larger. Keep in mind that the biggest advantage a larger motor has is not top speed but the ability to get to it's top speed quicker while loaded. The Aero accelerates well just not so much so beyond the 80 mph mark. I'll toss in a suggestion for the Shadow Sabre 1100, good power and not all that much heavier than the Aero. |
