| Is there any way to convert the seat of the 748S to a two seater so I can have a passenger. Also Im kinda short, is there a safe way to lower the bike while maintaining the ground clearance. Thanks for the help.

| | Yes, buy a non-painted biposto tail and have it painted to match the bike. It seems that Ducati doesn't make a biposto tail in this color scheme. |

| It's not a big problem to convert, but you have several things to consider first. The biggest issue is weight. The monoposto subframe isn't designed to support two passengers, so you have to buy a bi-posto subframe first(try ebay motors). Then, you will need to purchase a biposto fairing, again try ebay. You will have to repaint it to match the current color scheme. Next, purchase a set of rear footpegs, and the parts purchase is complete. Insure you receive all of the little parts that come with the rear fairing when you get it, i.e.- bolts, foam cushions, rear tail light, wiring harness. That's all you'll need to go two up! Enjoy.

| Hi,
I'm also trying to do the biposto conversion. One way is to buy a damaged or used tail and have it repainted at a body shop (Color Rite offers a prematched paint). Also, I hear that the gray color was offered in Europe as a biposto, but that would require special order, which usually means $$$$$$. The frame seems that it is the same as a biposto (place for passenger pegs already there) but you should check,

| Easy actually, the subframe is ready to go, bikebandit.com sells the rest. I had searched for months and came across a few in Europe that were biposto's. It is not cheap, close to $1000, but well worth it in my book.

| why on earth would you take this bike and alter it's originality by putting a bi-posto seat configuration on it? That's like adding rear seats to a Ferrari.
