when i dump my XR250, i let it sit for a minute then do 2 slow kicks with the compression handle pulled then one hard kick without it and it starts right up.

I hold in the decompression lever and do about 10 slow kicks, turn on full choke and kick once, then start it in half choke and give it a TINY BLIP of throttle while putting it on no choke.

I kick it a few times wide open with the fuel tap off, turn the choke on full, start it, rev it a litte, half chocke till its runnin smooth again, choke off and away you go. If you really cant start it and you finally get it running, pull away straight away well its running cause I find that stops it from stalling out.

pull in the decompression lever and kick the motor thru several times slowly with no throttle open to clear the cylinder of the raw fuel, then start as normal. A bigger slow jet helps too.
