The bike has 2 tripmeters. I use 1 for miles since I filled up, and the other for trip distances. Ignore the gas gauge. Usually my gas gauge indicates 1/2 around 100 miles after fill-up. This bike gets waaaay better with miles. Like the other poster mentioned its best to use the triptometers to kgauge your fuel mileage. I usually go 210-220 miles before putting in approx. 4.3gal.
