How much horsepower does the 610 have ?
Torque ? Do you think the seat will be better (softer/wider) for '07 ?

Honestly, how reliable is this thing going to be. I am used to the bullet proof Japanese bikes

It has alot of tourqe, easily in first 3 gears, maybe 4th you can loft the front wheel at will,my bike is not fully broken in so I have not rode it hard, but I can tell it has PLENTY of power, im 6'1'' 225 lbs and it moves me along very briskly. the 610 makes 53 hp at the crank so that would be about 46-47 at rear wheel, I put a Leo Vince pipe on it and according to their dyno chart the piple added about 5hp, the bike was not slow with the stock pipe, i have rode Huskys for 30 yrs, the longevity, quality of manufacture, overall performance the japanese bikes cant h old a candle to a husky, I have an '00 Te 410 husky and have yet to take the head off just this past january I replaced the original fork seals...the sm 610 is an awesome bike for around town play riding, for a long trip it would not be my first choice, but it was not designed with long trips in mind..trust me with the quality, looks, performance you will not be dissapointed..tht is why i have rode huskys for 30 yrs.
