Yamaha actually released the Rhino on October 1st. However, depending on where you live (larger cities will get theirs first), dealers are getting them as I write this. Production is very limited. Smaller town shops will only get 2-4 for the year. And the CAMO will not be out until Feb 2004.

I just bought the only one Team Power Sports in Garner NC had. They will be getting another one in February 2004 that will have the camo paint scheme.

I just put a deposit down for the Camo one at my local MI dealer. They just got a green one last night by suprise. They anticipate the Camo muchsooner than originally thought. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Also the Accessories catalog is not going to be available until December of 03.. Drag.. I called Yamaha today and they offer a 3 year waranty Y.E.S. plan for around $760.00 it covers everything from after the factory warranty which is 3-6 months.

I would check with Yamaha, I'm pretty tight with a yamaha dealer here and you can expect the camo edition to be out in Feb when they say. Anybody that says different is trying to get a deposit from you because they don't know. I used to go through this every year when I raced and basically the dealers will know when one is in their system in transit no matter what they tell you. I'm just pointing these out for those that are getting told that they are coming out sooner or they are expected in a couple of weeks. It goes either way, they could be out in 2 weeks or they could be out in April. If you put you're money down expect to wait until Feb and if it happens sooner great. I had one dealer here in NC tell a friend that they were getting them in two weeks and I'm just about to call Yamaha and report them.

Jason,
Get to your local Yamaha dealer of choice and plunk down some Johnny Cash. I had to put a deposit on mine and wait for several months, but let me tell you. It was worth the wait and the price. I paid retail $8,499 and was glad to get it for that price. Some dealers are sold out into next years production so I wouldn't wait too long.
