I have been looking at the 2005 Kawasaki 800SX-R and the Yamaha 2006 Supper jet. Witch one should I get?

Well take into consideration kawasaki has started the stand ups in the 70's, yamaha appeared in the mid to late 80's. Yamaha makes an excellent motor, so does Kawasaki and Kawasaki in my opinion has the top of the line hull design. I've rode the SXR 800 and the wider deck makes it much more stable and the power and handling is top rate. When it comes to watercraft performance and reliability I would only buy Yamaha or Kawasaki. Personally I would choose the SXR 800 over the Super Jet but thats just from personal experience but in the end they are both great machines and the choice is just which one you feel satisfies your taste.

My friend just got a 2006 SX-R this past weekend, I helped him break in his new toy, THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST STAND UP IN HISTORY, I clocked it side by side with my seadoo xp and it was going 48 MPH. It handles awesome and I am only a novice stand up rider, Definately choose the Kawasaki over the Yamaha. And the engine compartment is very roomy and components are easy to get to if you needed a fix, the yamaha is very tight and cramped. Andrew
