I HAVE A NON TURBO ITS GREAT AWESOME HANDLING TOP SPEED 52 MPH SOME ARE FASTER, SEA-DOO SUPER CHARGED MY NEIGHBOR HAS ONE, TONS OF PROBLEMS, THE YAMAHA SPITS ALL OVER YOU WITH THAT REAR WATER JET AND YOU CANT USE THE REVERSE LEVER FOR DOCKING BECAUSE OF ITS FUNNY LOCATION!!! (honda reliability) thats your best bet

I agree with you on the seadoo. Stay away from them. However, you have apparently never ridden a Yamaha. The rear water jet certainly doesn't "spit all over you" and a toddler could figure out the reverse. You shouldn't be using the throttle with the reverse lever anyway. As for Honda reliability, compare warranty claims. Yamaha beats every other manufacturer hands down. Granted, most of Honda's warranty issues are with turbochargers, but that's why you won't find a turbo on a Yamaha. My friend has an F-12X and his turbo has already blown after one year. Also, his reverse lever siezed up. The dealer said that a piece of the reverse mechanism was made from a cheap metal that rusts easily. Now really, why would a vehicle made for the water contain cheap parts that rust easily? Stick with tried and true Yamaha.

I have an 04 F-12 (non turbo) that is an absolute blast with absolutely no problems, granted I don't have that many hours on it. At any rate, it's my first PWC, so not much to compare it to. However, when others have jumped on board and gave it a good run they come back with huge smiles on their faces, stating, wow, this thing is quick, man this thing handles great, this thing jumps like crazy off the wakes. These comments are indeed coming from people who have owned multiple makes, models, and styles. That said it's safe to say that the Honda rocks. I've had her up to 56mph several times, plenty fast enough for me, and out in the ocean off La Jolla where I appreciate the speed, nimbleness, and stability of the 3 seat F-12.
