| After reading about its positive reviews, I’d like someday to own a Burgman 400. Aside from the positives, what are the inconveniences, quirks, or misgivings?

| I own a 2005 type S purchased in Sept 05. I now have 750 miles on it. The only quirk I noticed is the fuel guage take a couple of min to move up from empty when ever you restart the bike.

| I've got over 6K on my 2004 Burgman 400 and have no real complaints. The stock windshield could be about 1" taller to decrease the wind buffetting around the helmet, but that only bothers me above 70mph.
I'd also like to find a good radio and am considering a Jensen marine set, but am having trouble figuring out where to put the speakers (a minor inconvience, to be sure).
And, lastly, I wish the gas tank was bigger! The spec says it's 2.2gal, but I can get 2.5 gal in mine. Even at 55mpg, though, that still means I need to start looking for gas every 140 miles or so. I'd like more cruising distance on a tankful.
