How much do dealers usually add on for freight, prep, doc fees, etc. I have heard this can add almost a thousand dollars to the msrp. thanks.

I just picked up 2 NEW Metro's at PROCYCLE, COLUMBIA, MO for $1099.00 each and paid $45.00 transportation, $65.00 processing fee, and $139.00 dealer prep and SetUP. I don't know if this is high or not. To me it's high because I know they spent 15 getting the new scooters ready.

You need to visit all the Honda Dealers in your driving distance. I checked with seven dealers, after my local dealer told me that they added $250.00 for setup and another $150.00 for documentation, plus 7% sales tax....all this added to the MSRP of $1849.00. I thought the setup price and the documentation fees were ridiculous, so I checked around. Just 15 miles away, in Thomasville, NC, the Honda Dealer doesn't (DOES NOT) charge any setup fees or any documentation fees. He just charges MSRP plus state sales tax. Guess where I am going to get my Metropolitan ? It pays to shop around.
