I've already 16000 mile on the AN650. After about 4-5000 mile, each time I start the engine there's a noise coming up as if the belt is sliding on the poly or so. Is it a common "disease"? And there's another sporadic noise coming from (I guess) the fuel pump or so (It's sound like a whistle, for a few seconds. sometimes when the engins is working and sometims not...). Again, anyone encounter that noise?

The noises you describe are normal. I am on my second Burgman 650 and noticed the momentary squeal coming from the clutch or transmission on both of them. It occurs when you first start it and sometimes just before the transmission disengages when slowing down, especially if you slow down quickly.

I also notice a strange sound that apparently is caused by pressure released around the fuel cap when my Burgman is parked in the garage. I haven't noticed any problems resulting from either of these things. My Burgmans have both been much more trouble free than the Honda Silver Wing I had prior to owning the Burgman. I had a 2002 Honda 600 Silver Wing and there were several recalls on it. There have been none so afar on either of the Burgmans I have owned.
