| City traffic, about 1/2 time idling in jams and at lights - typical moving speed 40-70 kph (25 to 43 mph), single rider about 210 pounds - after 675 kms (about 420 miles), I had cumulative klics per litre of 28.4 which is 80.4 miles per Imperial gallon and 66.9 miles
per US gallon. At 888 klics (550 miles) the 'cum' has improved to 67.3 miles per US gal. This after first service at 760 klics when sparkplug was replaced. It is hard to hope for anything higher than 70 miles per US gallon as the engine continues to 'seat' itself and 'loosen' up. This is moderately higher than what I remember getting on a BWS 2-stroke 50 cc. However the 2-stroke must have had much higher bad emissions. The tank is rather small. FWIW, my new Virago 250 cycle (manual trans) was definitely over 30 kpl in its first 500 klics under the same load and conditions.
