| | My daughter rides my 2004 Raptor 50 about every other day. She went away for about two weeks and upon returning the Raptor will not start though the starter will turn over and the choke is on. I have checked and cleaned the spark plug and it appears to be serviceable. Any suggestions on getting this ATV going again short of taking it to the dealer? |

| | We recently bought (2) 2006 Raptor 50's. Same problem, When we pressure washed them water got into the air box and flooded the carb with water. Our Dealer had the bike 3 days cleaning the carb and intake from water. apparently the air box is in a bad place at the front of the atv. We are also dissatified with them. Rev limiter in carb tops out at 11 mph. |

| Check your carb... I may have to be cleaned out... With todays gas, and the extermely small jets necessary to meet emission standards, if you let the bike sit more than a week between rides, the carb jets can get clogged up.. No matter what, it's a good idea drain the carb, to run it dry, before letting this ATV sit...
