| | All tt600s are fuel injected. 2000 was the first year for the 600, and it was known for poor fuel injection mapping, which affected the low-end response. I own a 2001 tt600, and I know that Triumph reworked the engine to smooth things out. A side-effect of smoothing out low-end response is a slight decrease in horsepower and torque in high rpms. However, this is very much worth the low-rpm smoothness created. However, this is only what I have read, not what I have learned from my own experience. I have also heard that you can go to your Triumph dealer to get your EFI computer re-mapped for 2000 models, but I'm not sure. I would make sure to ride the bike before you buy. If you could, try to get a 2001. Make sure to do some more research. |
