2001 Shadow Sabre was all that everyone said. Love the machine. Put 5,000 miles on it and have only one problem that I hope someone can help be with. I'm stretching about 2 inches forward to get at the handlebars. After about 200 miles my back and neck are in knots. Any recommendations on how to quick fix the reach problem, without working up a bill for extended cables.

Spider, I have read that you can use the handelbar risers from an Aero. A man said he did this for his wifes Sabre and was able to bring the bars back about two inches. Ask your local service dept what they think. Jim

I have done some research on the Sabre and ready to purchase an 01 Sabre. I was told by the dealer that Honda just put out a new set of billit risers for it this year. Could you tell me how tall you are and how much of a forward reach you have to do? I had neck surgery in 2000 and can not tollerate any discomfort on a bike. I appreciate a speedy answer if you will. Good luck!

Spider, There are two different kinds of kickback risers available. Both bring the bars back about 2" without raising them more than 1/2". Around $60.

I have a 2001 Sabre and put the Honda Sprit risers on it and this set the bars back about one and a half inches and up about an inch, worked great.
